What a fantastic book! The suspense was wonderful and had great twists. The romance between Kacy and Braedon was soul stirring, and made my heart ache as the story played out. Its amazing how this book started out with a bang and really grabbed me. I cant wait for more. I thought Dee Davis first book, Everything in its Time, was great and this one is too. This book is well deserving of five stars!
Author Dee Davis has made an impressive debut with AFTER TWILIGHT. I really enjoyed this book. Kacy and Braedon were very likeable people and the author did a great job of bringing them to life. There are enough twists and turns to make any suspense reader happy. Dont miss this one!
I have to say that I was disappointed by this book. The characters seemed very 2 dimensional. Both the main characters had a past but they were able to get past them a little too quickly for my liking. The female was weak and looking for a man to save the day, which is just what the man wanted to do. It was too sickly sweet for my taste. There were a few twists and turns and I liked the Irish setting, but for the most part I ended up skimming.
