Before reading this book I thought architectural literature was just for snooty people. But this is one for the masses. It had coolest Burger King I had ever seen in it! (under the heading "Dialogues and Distopias: You Want Fries With That?") And the designers really did things with the color orange I had never even thought of before (dont tell Martha! ) All in all I recommend this book to anyone interested in why buildings look like the way they do when they are done, and not the way you think they would have looked done if you were the designer.
